Edmonton - Electrical Sales Representative (OEM)

Electrical Sales Representative

Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Position: Full-Time

ElectriXwest Agencies is seeking an experienced Electrical Sales Representative to manage existing accounts and develop new business throughout Northern Alberta.

This position involves representing leading electrical manufacturers and building relationships with electrical distributors, contractors, OEMs, engineers and industrial customers. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, organized and comfortable managing a sales territory independently.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong customer relationships

Call on electrical distributors, contractors, OEMs and end users

Promote ElectriXwest manufacturers and product lines

Identify new customers, projects and sales opportunities

Conduct customer meetings, product demonstrations and presentations

Prepare and follow up on quotations and project opportunities

Coordinate with manufacturers to provide product and technical support

Maintain accurate records of sales activity and opportunities

Travel throughout the assigned territory as required

Must-Have Qualifications

Previous electrical industry sales experience

Knowledge of electrical products and distribution channels

Experience working with electrical distributors, contractors or OEM customers

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Excellent organization and consistent follow-up

Ability to manage accounts and territory activity independently

Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

Established relationships within Alberta’s electrical industry

Experience with an electrical manufacturer, manufacturers’ representative or distributor

Knowledge of industrial controls, power distribution, lighting or related electrical products

Experience with quoting and CRM software

Proven ability to develop new accounts and grow territory sales
